About the Therapist

Before opening up my private practice in Monroe in 2007, I had experience for 14 years in the public and private education system as a Special Education Teacher. I had the opportunity to work with very diverse populations of students: ADHD, asperger, autism, and reactive attachment disorders. I was blessed in working with great teams of special service providers, "wrap around" meetings for at risk students, and working collaboratively with parents who were true advocates for their children. My passion grew regarding families and the systems in which we all function, so I pursued my Marriage and Family Therapy degree.
Though, I am very grateful for the balance of education and experience I can bring to a situation, I am proud to say the greatest rewards come from being present with each interaction I have with my clients.
