Faith is taking the first step
even when you don't see the whole staircase.

 Martin Luther King Jr.

Do you want a change? Is there a feeling in your life of anxiety, depression, or being stuck, and not knowing where it is coming from? Are your relationships struggling right now from stressful parenting?  Is your family or one member going through a major transition?  Counseling can assist you in creating more of what you truly desire: rewarding relationships, healthier family life, hopeful visions, and peace of mind. Reaching out for help for self-discovery, over coming obstacles, managing conflict, or finding a way to use your passion. Whatever your goals are, investing in therapy can make your process smoother and more focused, and even more enjoyable. I can help you develop an attitude that sees challenges as opportunities for growth. Success and relief are closer that you imagine.
Welcome to the first steps of healing and hope.

My name is Annie Redd, and I am a Washington native and provide services in Northeast King and Snohomish Counties. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing counseling support to children, teens, adults, couples and families. My office is in downtown Monroe on Blakeley Street. My approach is based on helping individuals and families see how everything is in relationship with each other. Individuals, families, schools, and the community are all connected together in some way.  I also use mainstream counseling techniques (such as Lifespan Integration),  self awareness skills, and behavioral/cognitive/motivational techniques to help you achieve your goals. Because I have a back ground in Special Education I also work closely with family with special needs or at risk youth.

Welcome to my website. Please take a moment to read a bit more about me and the services I offer. Or, if you are ready to move forward, feel free to call. I have periods of time where I do not take new clients but if you want to be on a wait list you might get in quicker. I offer a free 10 minute phone consultation for potential clients to get to know me before choosing me as their therapist. I look forward to hearing from you.
